Year in Review 2016

Hello everyone!

Today is the last day of 2016. It’s been another wonderful year for me. I’ve had a lot of fun creating projects for many challenge blogs. I love to try new things. To make each of my projects unique, sometimes it’s been challenging to find new inspirations. But I’ve found it fun to do and that’s how I broaden my crafting skills. However, I still keep practicing on every creations I’ve made.

All of my projects in 2016 are featured in the video below.

In 2017, I’m sure there will be new things to explore. I hope it will be another great year for me.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your family a wonderful year ahead. All the best in everything.

My 2017 Planner

Hello crafty friends! It is almost the last day of 2016. Time has gone so fast. Today it’s also my turn to share a project for inspiration at Storie di Timbri blog.

I have prepared myself for the coming 2017 with this project. It is 2017 monthly planner to help me schedule crafting projects. I have printed out monthly calendar into the booklet so my planner is in A5 size. I folded the papers in half and punched the holes along the folded line. Then, I stitched all pages together using chainstitch bookbinding technique.

I have decorated the planner cover with two magnolia stamps. They are “Santa on Christmas Eve” stamp from So Jolly Under the Mistletoe 2009 collection and “Winter Night Background” stamp from Winter 2008 collection. The stamped images were colored with distress ink. I decorated the cover with few only embellishments so that I could write on the left pages easily. Here is my handmade planner.

Inside the planner, it is monthly calendar.

I used chainstitch bookbinding technique which I had learned from a workshop last year.

I would like to enter my project to these challenges.

Thank you for stopping by. Have a wonderful holiday!

Flying Rudolph

Hello everyone! Today it’s time for the reminder post at Marvelous Magnolia challenge. The theme for December challenge is
I have created a Christmas card using Magnolia “Jingle Bell Rudolf” stamp from Winter Wonderland 2013 collection. I used distress ink to create night background and added some Diamond Sparkle embossing powder to make the shining stars. The card base is a die cut from Magnolia Vintage Box 2 cut out from Magnolia paper with inner frame from Spellbinders. The sentiment and red chandelier are from Yuletide Vintage box. I decorated with the die cuts from Magnolia and Doohickey box 7.

Happy Christmas Card

Hello crafty friends! Today I have a new project to share. It is a card I created for the new challenge at Addicted to Stamps. The theme is
I have created this red & green Christmas card using old stamp from Lili of the Valley. The name is “Fairy Lights”. I think this stamp is discontinued and not available as Digi. However, the image is so cute that I can’t resist to color it. The sentiment is also the LOTV stamp. I decorated the card with poinsettia paper flower and die cuts from Doohickey vol 7, 12, Vintage Box 4.

The stamped image was colored with distress ink as usual.

Tilda in Snow Globe Shaker Card

Hi! I’m back again today with another new challenge at Magnolia Forever. The theme is
I have created a fun winter card using mini Magnolia “Tilda in Cozy Coat” stamp from Waiting for Christmas 2014 collection. This mini Tilda can fit in the snow globe die cut from Impression Obsession. I added more fun by turning it into shaker part so it would be like a real snow globe. Both sentiments are stamps from Lili of the Valley. Patterned paper is from Maja Design. The shape of card base is from Magnolia pop up box. Other die cuts decorations are Doohickey Poinsettia, Sprawling Ferns, Sizzix Tim Holtz Snowflake Rosette, Simon Says Stamp Snowflake, and Cheery Lynn Designs English Tea Party Doily.

I have created a simple Christmas card using all products from Magnolia. The image is “Tilda with Little Snowy” stamp from A Lovely Christmas 2015 collection. The sentiment is the stamp from “Dreaming of Ornament Kit” from the latest Aspen Holidays 2016 collection. I stamped the sentiment with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed with Platinum Liquid embossing powder. The die cuts are from Doohickey box vol 7 (snow scene), vol 9 (clouds & stars), Sprawling ferns, and Poinsettia.
