My 2017 Planner

Hello crafty friends! It is almost the last day of 2016. Time has gone so fast. Today it’s also my turn to share a project for inspiration at Storie di Timbri blog.

I have prepared myself for the coming 2017 with this project. It is 2017 monthly planner to help me schedule crafting projects. I have printed out monthly calendar into the booklet so my planner is in A5 size. I folded the papers in half and punched the holes along the folded line. Then, I stitched all pages together using chainstitch bookbinding technique.

I have decorated the planner cover with two magnolia stamps. They are “Santa on Christmas Eve” stamp from So Jolly Under the Mistletoe 2009 collection and “Winter Night Background” stamp from Winter 2008 collection. The stamped images were colored with distress ink. I decorated the cover with few only embellishments so that I could write on the left pages easily. Here is my handmade planner.

Inside the planner, it is monthly calendar.

I used chainstitch bookbinding technique which I had learned from a workshop last year.

I would like to enter my project to these challenges.

Thank you for stopping by. Have a wonderful holiday!

Happy Christmas Card

Hello crafty friends! Today I have a new project to share. It is a card I created for the new challenge at Addicted to Stamps. The theme is
I have created this red & green Christmas card using old stamp from Lili of the Valley. The name is “Fairy Lights”. I think this stamp is discontinued and not available as Digi. However, the image is so cute that I can’t resist to color it. The sentiment is also the LOTV stamp. I decorated the card with poinsettia paper flower and die cuts from Doohickey vol 7, 12, Vintage Box 4.

Tilda in Snow Globe Shaker Card

Hi! I’m back again today with another new challenge at Magnolia Forever. The theme is
I have created a fun winter card using mini Magnolia “Tilda in Cozy Coat” stamp from Waiting for Christmas 2014 collection. This mini Tilda can fit in the snow globe die cut from Impression Obsession. I added more fun by turning it into shaker part so it would be like a real snow globe. Both sentiments are stamps from Lili of the Valley. Patterned paper is from Maja Design. The shape of card base is from Magnolia pop up box. Other die cuts decorations are Doohickey Poinsettia, Sprawling Ferns, Sizzix Tim Holtz Snowflake Rosette, Simon Says Stamp Snowflake, and Cheery Lynn Designs English Tea Party Doily.

Winter Rosette Card

Hello everyone! Today it’s my turn to share a project for inspiration at Storie di Timbri.

It is almost the last month of the year. I have seen many crafty friends started to create winter/ christmas cards. Sadly, there is no winter in Thailand. Just a little cool breeze in the morning but getting hot in the afternoon. However, I would love to create winter project too.

I made a winter rosette card using Magnolia “Tilda in Cozy Coat” stamp from waiting for Christmas 2014 collection. The rosette base was created by scoring the 3” wide paper at every ¼”. The sentiment stamp was from Lili of the Valley and then I hand cut the banner along the text line. Instead of using paper flowers, I decorated the card with snowflake rosette die cuts from Tim Holtz.

Friends Tag

Hello everyone! To share with you today is the project I created for Addicted to Stamps challenge. The theme is
This week, I just had an opportunity to meet a very old pen friend. We had started writing letters to each other 20 years ago but we had never met. She came from Netherlands to have a vacation in Bangkok. So we arranged to meet each other for the first time. I had only one day to prepare a gift for her as a memento of our first met. So I created this simple tag. Since I wanted this tag to be used as a bookmark, I tried to limit the use of embellishments to keep the tag flat as much as possible.
Penny Black in the Garden Friend Tag
I used 2 sets of Penny Black stamps which were “In the Garden” and “Loads of Love”. The Stamped image was colored with distress ink. The flag die cuts were from Magnolia Doohickey “Castle”, “Flags”, and “Christmas Tags”. Then I colored the flags as Thai and Dutch flags. Here is the close up for the tag.

Shaker Star Easel Card

Hi again! As I mentioned a few days ago that I was a new DT member at Storie di Timbri blog. Today it’s the start of November challenge. The theme is
I wanted to make the star as the focal point of the card so I combined shaker part and easel part into this star. I used Little B Stars die to create the shaker star. The sentiment stamp was from Lili of the Valley. I also stamped the Magnolia “Fairy Dust” from Fairy Tale 2010 collection with gold ink around the sentiment. The cute angel was Magnolia “Tilda Captures Stars” stamp from Nativity 2012 collection. I cut her out and attached her with a piece of acetate sheet so it looked like she could soar above the star.

Magnolia Autumn Card

Hello everyone! Today it’s the first of November so it’s time for the new challenge at Magnolia Forever. The current theme is
I made this autumn card using Magnolia “Tilda in the Wind” stamp from seaside 2016 collection. I love the windy movement of her hair, scarf, and skirt and I think it really matches the falling leaves. I used many dies from Magnolia Doohickey volume 5 (Mushroom, acorn, leaves, Ivy vine), 8 (wire mesh), and 11 (leaves frame). The leaves frame card base was colored with distress ink Spiced Marmalade, Peeled Paint, and Scattered Straw. I also use distress ink (Spiced Marmalade and Vintage Photo) to dye the seam binding ribbon to match the card.

Behind the Scene of Halloween

Hello everyone! Let’s start with some exciting news. I just got invited to join DT team at Addicted to Stamps Challenge. With no hesitation, I immediately accepted this invitation because I loved stamping and coloring the stamped image. So this opportunity was definitely right for me.
Today it’s the first challenge I created for Addicted to Stamps challenge. The theme is
Last week I had busy time cleaning my house because one of my cats peed around my craft room. I had to clean the floor many time to get rid of bad smell. Also it’s almost time for Halloween. I came up with the idea that the witch might have busy time with her black cat too.

So I have created this funny Halloween box using Magnolia “Tvi Tvi Tvi Tilda” stamp from Little Easter 2013 collection. The box was made with thick cardboard painted in black. I used Spellbinders Scalloped Border 2 dies to cut the edges of the box. The patterned paper was pressed in the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder to create more texture. Then I decorated the box with many die cuts from Doohickey, Cottage Cutz, and Lawn Fawn.

Clean & Simple Birthday Party Card

Hello! Today it’s the beginning of October month so it’s time for the new challenge at Magnolia Forever. The theme is
I have created a clean and simple but colorful birthday card for this challenge. I found colorful birthday party patterned paper in my paper stash. So I chose Magnolia “Congratulation Tilda” stamp from You’re So Special 2011 collection because she went really well with the paper. The pierced rectangle die and sentiment stamp were from My Favorite Things. To keep the card C&S, I minimized the embellishments by using only ribbon and pearls.
