Heart Flip Card (Dreamtime Craft Supplies DT Call)

Happy Valentine’s Day! So I have a love/ heart theme card to show you today. I had been thinking about making a flip card because I loved how the window flipped when opening and closing. So I decided to try it out with the new Magnolia stamp. Here is my heart flip card.
Magnolia Sweetness Angel Tilda Heart Flip Card
Since I did not have a heart shaped die, the heart window was cut by hand. I used the new Magnolia stamp “Sweetness Angel Tilda” from A Touch of Love 2016 collection. She is so adorable. I also used the cloud die cut from Doohickey Volume 4 to create the blue cloudy sky background behind her. Here is a close up of Angel Tilda.

Inside the card, I stamped the Magnolia “Love Heart” stamp with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with Ranger Platinum embossing powder on the other side of the flipped heart. The heart window die cut was also heat embossed with the same embossing powder.

The heart window die cut can be pulled out to write a little sweet message.

Magnolia Edwin with Christmas Lantern Shaker Card

Hi crafty friends! Today, it’s time for new challenge at Magnolia Forever. The theme for this challenge is

I decided to create a Christmas card in male tone to stay away from pink colour. I used the new stamp “Edwin with Christmas Lantern” from the latest collection A Lovely Christmas. Most decorations were from Doohickey Club volume 7 “Holidays are coming”. The snow scene die cut was so cute and I think it would be perfect for shaker card. Here is my creation for this challenge.

Sweet Pastel Present Shaped Card

Hi crafty friends! It’s time for Marvelous Magnolia reminder post today. The current challenge is

You have 1 more week to submit your project here.

To stay away from fall colours like yellow, orange, and brown, I selected pastel blue, purple, and pink for this project as they are my favourite colours. And I’m glad this theme is not for autumn because I really wanted to use new Magnolia stamps which are in Christmas theme. I used one of the stamps from the Fall 2015 Stamp club. This is “Lace Hood Tilda” from the new preorder A Lovely Christmas 2015 collection. She is holding a Christmas gift box so I create a present shaped card to match with the image.

Black Cat Tag

Hi! Welcome back to my blog. It’s time for Marvelous Magnolia reminder post today. The current challenge is
You have one more week to submit your black project here.

I think this challenge would fit a Halloween theme. So I made a black cat tag from old Magnolia “Jasper” stamp from A Christmas Story 2012 collection. It’s fun to adapt the Christmas stamp for other occasion. Here is my creation.
Magnolia Jasper Black Cat Tag
Materials:
  • Magnolia “Jasper” stamp from A Christmas Story 2012 collection
  • Magnolia DooHickey Club Volume 6 “Harvest”
  • Magnolia Doohickey “Paris Night” die
  • Die-Versions “Downhill” die font
  • Patterned paper Glitz Design
  • Embellishments: Ribbon, Spider embellishment, Paper flower, Wiggle eyes

The stamped image was coloured with distress ink by using no-line colouring technique because I wanted the cat’s eyes to be yellow like most black cats. Here is the close up of the tag.
