Tilda in Snow Globe Shaker Card

Hi! I’m back again today with another new challenge at Magnolia Forever. The theme is
I have created a fun winter card using mini Magnolia “Tilda in Cozy Coat” stamp from Waiting for Christmas 2014 collection. This mini Tilda can fit in the snow globe die cut from Impression Obsession. I added more fun by turning it into shaker part so it would be like a real snow globe. Both sentiments are stamps from Lili of the Valley. Patterned paper is from Maja Design. The shape of card base is from Magnolia pop up box. Other die cuts decorations are Doohickey Poinsettia, Sprawling Ferns, Sizzix Tim Holtz Snowflake Rosette, Simon Says Stamp Snowflake, and Cheery Lynn Designs English Tea Party Doily.

First DT Creation for Magnolia Forever Challenge – Wedding Card

Hi, all crafty friends! Today, I have exciting news to announce that I’m a new DT member of Magnolia Forever Challenge. This is my first time to be part of a design team. Thank you very much for offering this wonderful opportunity so I can proudly display this badge on my blog.

My first DT creation is for Magnolia Forever Challenge #14. This challenge runs from 15th to 30th July. The theme for this challenge is…

This challenge comes at a perfect time because my friend will be getting married in next 2 weeks. So this project will be a gift for my friend’s wedding.
Here is my card for this challenge.
Magnolia Vintage Swedish Bridal Couple
Materials:
  • Magnolia “Vintage Swedish Background” stamp from Special Moments 2013 collection
  • Magnolia “Vintage Bridal Couple” mini stamp from Special Moments 2013 collection
  • Fiskars “All Year Greeting” clear stamp  – For Sentiment
  • Magnolia Doohickey “Paris Night” die
  • Magnolia DooHickey Club Volume 4 “Le Jardin”
  • Spellbinders Shapeability “Grommet Tags” dies
  • Die-Versions “Ring of Hearts” Whispers die
  • Paper Flowers from I Am Roses
  • Patterned Papers from La’boom, Pion
  • Ranger “Queen Gold” embossing powder
  • Ranger Liquid Pearls “Rouge”, “White Opal”, and “Pink Petal”
  • Ranger Stickles “Star Dust”
  • Ranger Multi Medium Matte
  • Embellishments – Lace, Ribbon, and Pearls
I used stamp masking technique to make the bridal couple standing in front of the background. I also masked a small tree off from the background because I didn’t want that tree to appear right behind the couple. The stamped image was colored with distress ink as usual. I also used Ranger Multi Medium Matte mixed with white acrylic paint to make semi-transparent veil on the bride’s face.
