Christmas Tree Easel Card

Hello! Today I have a project I made for Magnolia Forever challenge to share with you. This month theme is
I have created a Christmas tree easel card for this challenge. The card base is in circle shape so it would look like tree skirt when the tree stands on it. I decorated the tree skirt with golden trim and ribbon. The Christmas tree die cut is from Marianne Design. The present box die cuts are from Tim Holtz Retro packages. I added pop up mechanism on these presents die cuts so the tree can stand behind them.

The image is Magnolia “Tilda Hanging Ornaments” stamp from Merry Little Christmas 2010 collection. I masked her on the “Christmas Pallet” stamp from A Lovely Christmas 2015 collection. I colored the stamped image with distress ink. I decorated the tree with tinsel ribbon and ornaments die cuts from Doohickey Volume 17 and attached Tilda in front of the tree so it looks like she is hanging the ornaments.

The sentiment is stamp from LOTV which is heat embossed with gold embossing powder. I cut the sentiment with Doohickey Banner die.

The card can be laid flat to put into envelope.

Love Angel Heart Shaped Easel Card

Hello crafty friends! It has been long time no see. I’m sorry I had been away from my blog for too long. I hope I can come back regularly as usual to share my favorite handmade creations.

To share with you today is the card I made for Magnolia Forever September challenge. The theme for this month is
It’s very hard to tell which one is my favorite Magnolia stamp so I picked one of the cutest Magnolia stamps and the background one that I often used. Then, I created a heart shaped easel card from both stamps. I decorated this card in shabby chic style using pearl string, ribbon, and trim.

This cute Tilda is Magnolia “Miracle Love Tilda” stamp from A Touch of Love 2016 collection. I colored the stamped image with distress ink and added some glitters on her wings and skirt. The background is the “Love Heart” stamp from Magnolia Love 2009 collection.

Fall Heart Shaped Easel Card

Hello crafty friends! Today I would like to share a card I made for Magnolia Forever November challenge. The theme is

I wanted to create something sweet for this challenge. I had ordered a few Magnolia boxes sometimes ago but didn’t have a chance to use them. So I combined them together to make this card. The heart shaped card base is from Magnolia Vintage box 5. I decorated this card with many die cuts. The big tree and apples die cuts are from the latest Doohickey volume 16. The bushes with hearts die cuts are from last year Doohickey volume 9. The fence die cut is from Pop Up box 2.

This Tilda is Magnolia “Market Tilda with Fruits” stamp from From Farm to Market 2017 collection. There are also some fruit stamps in this kit. I mask-stamped some apples in the box that Tilda is carrying to match with the die cuts. The stamped image was colored with distress ink.

I also decorated the card with paper flowers, some berries, ribbon, and charm.

As this is an easel card, the front cover can stand.

Heart Easel Card

Hello everyone! Today I would like to share a card I created for the new Addicted to Stamps challenge. The theme is
(Valentine/Weddings/Anniversaries and so on)
I’ve created a sweet heart easel card for this challenge. I used Little B “Pierced Nesting Hearts” dies to cut the heart shape. The image is from Dreamerland Crafts “Walk with Me Hand in Hand” stamp from Spring 2014 collection. Since it is an easel card, the front cover can stand on the card base and some greetings can be written on the bottom small heart.

The stamped image was colored with distress ink. The background text was from Magnolia “Love Heart” stamp which I embossed with pink embossing powder.

I made a small pop up part so that the front cover can stand easily on the card base. The “Love” die cut was from Simon Says Stamp. I think this pop up part makes the easel card more interesting.

When closing, the card can be laid flat.

Shaker Star Easel Card

Hi again! As I mentioned a few days ago that I was a new DT member at Storie di Timbri blog. Today it’s the start of November challenge. The theme is
I wanted to make the star as the focal point of the card so I combined shaker part and easel part into this star. I used Little B Stars die to create the shaker star. The sentiment stamp was from Lili of the Valley. I also stamped the Magnolia “Fairy Dust” from Fairy Tale 2010 collection with gold ink around the sentiment. The cute angel was Magnolia “Tilda Captures Stars” stamp from Nativity 2012 collection. I cut her out and attached her with a piece of acetate sheet so it looked like she could soar above the star.

When open the card, the shaker star can stand and little Tilda is soaring.
