Cupid Tilda Sculpture Valentine’s Card

Hello everyone! To share with you today is the card I created for Magnolia Forever challenge. The theme for February challenge is
Love/ Valentine

I wanted to create a Valentine’s card in a different style. This card was inspired by fine arts cupids and angels sculptures I had seen in the museum. So I created this card in vintage monochrome look except the red heart to make red color pop out. I used die from Magnolia Vintage box 4 and Magnolia paper to cut the card base. The heart tags die cuts are from Doohickey box 5. I decorated the card with ivory ribbon, rhinestone button and antique gold charm to match with the vintage style.
Magnolia You Are My Valentine Tilda Cupid Sculpture

This cute cupid is Magnolia “You Are My Valentine Tilda” stamp from Lovely Duo 2015 collection. I colored the image with distress ink as usual but it was quite challenging for this one as I wanted this Tilda to look like cupid sculpture. And I was satisfied with the result. I used only 4 colors for this image.
Cupid Tilda – Pumice Stone, Black Soot
Heart – Barn Door, Black Soot
Background – Gathered Twigs

The sentiment is also the stamp provided in this Tilda stamp kit. The frame die cuts for both image and sentiment are from Spellbinder Majestic Label Eight dies. The cupid charm is from Magnolia webshop.

I decorated the card with white and gray paper flowers to match with monochrome card. I also added red Gypsophila heart to match with red heart in the image.

Snowflake Pop Up Card

Hello! Today I have a card I created for reminder post at two Magnolia challenges. The first one is Magnolia Forever with the theme

And Marvelous Magnolia challenge with the theme

For this card, I only used die cuts on the front cover. The poinsettia was made from die cuts from Magnolia Vintage box 4. The snowflake background and sentiment die cuts are from Poppy Stamps. I used some glitters on die cuts to add sparkling touch to the card.

When opening the card, Tilda and snowflakes will pop up. Both Tilda and snowflakes were attached to the pop up part. I made the spiral pop up by following the tutorial here. I stamped the background paper with snowflake stamps from Magnolia Vintage Box 4 and “X-Mas Snowflakes” stamp from A Lovely Christmas 2015 collection.
Magnolia Tilda with Sock Puffs Pop Up Card

This cute Tilda is from “Tilda with Sock Puffs” stamp from Aspen Holidays 2016 collection. I used masking stamp technique to make her sitting on “the Christmas Lace Bench” stamp from the same collection. The stamped image was colored with distress ink. I also attached tiny snowflake over her palm using acetate stripe.

The sentiment is from LOTV stamp which I heat embossed with white embossing powder.

Christmas Window card

Hello! To share with you today is the card I made for Addicted to Stamps last challenge of 2017. We will come back in 2018 with some little changes. By the way, the theme for this year last challenge is
I have made this window card to fit this challenge theme. I designed the card layout like a house decorated with Christmas wreath and garland. Looking through the window, we can see three cats helping each other decorating Christmas tree outside the house.
Mulberry Wood Purrfect Christmas Window Card

I used the stamp from Crafter’s Companion Mulberry Wood. This stamp is called “Purr’fect Christmas”. I colored the image with distress ink. The cats’ colors are exactly the same as my three cats. I also added some glitters on snow, garland, and star and applied some snow paste on the falling snow. The window was made from acetate sheet which I stenciled little snowflakes with gesso.
Mulberry Wood Purrfect Christmas Window Card

I decorated the top part with cute Christmas wreath, garland die cut from Doohickey volume 17, and Impression Obsession Holly Leaf Cluster die cuts.

As this is the window card, the front cover is clear and the image is inside the card. The top part is the blank space to write greeting message.

Hello crafty friends! Today I would like to share a card I made for Magnolia Forever November challenge. The theme is

I wanted to create something sweet for this challenge. I had ordered a few Magnolia boxes sometimes ago but didn’t have a chance to use them. So I combined them together to make this card. The heart shaped card base is from Magnolia Vintage box 5. I decorated this card with many die cuts. The big tree and apples die cuts are from the latest Doohickey volume 16. The bushes with hearts die cuts are from last year Doohickey volume 9. The fence die cut is from Pop Up box 2.
Magnolia Heart shaped Card

This Tilda is Magnolia “Market Tilda with Fruits” stamp from From Farm to Market 2017 collection. There are also some fruit stamps in this kit. I mask-stamped some apples in the box that Tilda is carrying to match with the die cuts. The stamped image was colored with distress ink.
